My favourite fall scents

Dear Diary,

It's September, and that means we can officially start talking about the fall season with so much excitement and anticipation as to what we have planned to celebrate the occasion. Whether that be to wear your best sweaters, pull out all your autumn décor or bring out all of your favourite candles there's something to fuel everyone's excitement. For me, there's nothing I love more than the crisp morning air, duvet days and snuggling up in my cosy's while burning my favourite autumnal scents. What could be better? In this weeks blog post, I thought I would share with you my favourite fall scents and how you can create perfect autumn vibes in your home this fall. Enjoy.

Autumn Leaves and hazelnut: This is a scent that I like to burn during the month of September, just when were all going into the transitional stage from summer to early fall as it's more of a true, vibrant fall scent to ease yourself into the colder months. Developed with notes of birch and maple leaves, paired with scents of pomegranate, juniper berry, orange blossom and hazelnut, this is definitely a scent to leave you with an easy impression of the autumn months to come and a welcoming impression for your home.

Spiced apple and sparkling cinnamon: Introduced to this scent a few years ago when purchasing a Yankee candle, this scent definitely packs a punch and is definitely for those who like a sharp, sweet, yet spicy scent. I like to burn this scent around the house during the week of Halloween/bonfire night and into the rest of November to tie in with the theme of winter nights and thanksgiving. Notes made up in this candle consist of gorgeous natural scents including cinnamon, cardamom, apple, clove and bay leaf. A must have scent for a true winter evening experience.

Blackberry woods: One of the very first scents that I discovered from Shay and Blue which is undeniably a very underrated yet up and coming brand, this is true artist perfumery at it's best. Described as a 'dark and sensual walk in dew-soaked woods. Glossy berry juice and punk sharp citrus. A rebel fragrance with heart and mind. The essence of enchantment'. It is clear that this mouth watering scent is made with such a loving and warm character that it will create a heart-warming aroma wherever you go. Suitable to wear during the day and gender neutral.

Cherry pie: A freshly baked, sweet, yet warming scent that will most likely leave you craving some sugary sweets, this is a more lightweight scent to burn in your home during the autumn months. Made up of a gorgeous blend of sweet black cherries and a base note of freshly baked flake crust, this will leave you wanting more. This is a scent I like to burn more during the evening as I'm sitting down in my cosy's while preparing a hot chocolate, you couldn't argue that these don't all complement each other. I personally like to burn this scent during November/December time to tie in with all the thanksgiving/Christmas activities but I would say this is suitable at any time during the year, especially during the summer time. A beautiful sweet scent that I would recommend to anyone in need of a sweet fix.

Wood sage and sea salt: Inspired by the famous Jo Malone Perfume, I like to wear or burn this scent after a cold evening walk or a night time stroll on the beach to retain the scent of the windswept shore and the mineral scent of rugged cliffs. Made up of a beautiful, fresh, sophiscated scent that evolves the aroma of the seaside with notes of sea salt, sage, driftwood and fresh crisp air. These notes will guarantee to transform any atmosphere into a luxurious environment with the woody earthiness this scent delivers. Whether you want to up-lift, wind down or simply add an aroma of luxury into your life, this scent is suitable for many occasions.
